APTDA
The APTDA® Insurance Program is specifically designed to offer the advantages of group underwriting and the purchasing power of a large group to smaller owner-operator markets.
Insurance is important to both the owner-operators and motor carrier. It is equally important to provide that insurance in a manner consistent with the status of owner-operators as independent contractors. For that reason, owner-operators can get their coverage directly through the APTDA program. The coverage is portable. If the owner-operator changes to lease to another motor carrier they can continue their coverage.
